El Paso Players Shine at BVBIA Western Region ID Event

This past weekend, 16 talented El Paso players and their families embarked on an exciting journey to Washington State to participate in the highly anticipated BVBIA Western Region ID Event. Alongside top BVB players from across the western region, our athletes showcased their skills, and proved their mettle while representing the Borderland with pride. BVBIA coaches, and directors from around the region as well as Dru Wright, Director of Soccer Operations for BVB International Academy America were in attendance and organizing the event.
These talented El Paso players are working to earn their spot on the BVBIA Western Region Player Pool. As part of this exclusive player pool, they will have the opportunity to compete in various regional tournaments, showcasing their talent on a broader platform. The upcoming Albion Cup in Portland, Oregon, and the Scottsdale Cup in Arizona are two eagerly anticipated events where our players hope to continue to shine.
The BVBIA Player Pathway
The journey for these El Paso players doesn't end with regional tournaments. The players are also fighting for an opportunity to compete for a coveted spot on the BVBIA National Team and the chance to participate in the prestigious School of Excellence trip in Dortmund, Germany.
We are immensely proud of the performance displayed by our talented El Paso players and the support their parents and families’ play in their continued development. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the BVBIA coaches and directors from around the region for the organization of such a great event.
The success achieved by the 16 El Paso players at the BVBIA Western Region ID Event is a testament to their talent and dedication. As they move forward, participating in upcoming regional tournaments and striving for a place in the BVBIA National Team Pool, these young athletes will undoubtedly continue to make their mark in the world of youth soccer here in El Paso and beyond. With each step, they bring us closer to our shared goal of developing players who embody the spirit of BVB on and off the pitch.
