Last week, more than 40 Directors and coaches from BVBIA North American made their way to the  recent United Soccer Coaches Convention in Chicago, held from January 8-12, 2025.  The convention provided an invaluable platform for professional development and camaraderie among soccer coaches and administrators.

BVB International Academy (BVBIA) North America capitalized on this event by organizing a series of leadership meetings and educational sessions for over 40 coaches and directors from their affiliates across the United States and Canada.

Structured Agenda for Growth and Collaboration

Tuesday: Director Meeting

The week commenced with a Director Meeting aimed at uniting the organization's leadership. This session focused on sharing best practices and strategizing to propel the organization forward.

Wednesday: Interactive Coaching Sessions

Coaches joined directors for a full day of interactive coaching education. These sessions were designed to enhance coaching methodologies through collaborative learning and practical demonstrations.

Thursday to Saturday: United Soccer Coaches Convention

Participants engaged in the broader convention activities, which included over 200 educational opportunities such as live field demonstrations, classroom sessions, and networking events.

Beyond formal sessions, the convention offered numerous opportunities for coaches to connect and build relationships. Whether through educational workshops, on-field training, or evening social outings, these interactions were instrumental in strengthening the bonds within the BVBIA community.
